In Love

A girl changed how I saw the world through deconstructionalism of my thought process since the start of 08, during this period, I've gone through a period of self rediscovery, which resulted in an overall unsuprising conclusion to all this when I've fallen in love with this Beijing girl. even though I'm a fan of assumed singlism, I think its time that everyone knew. So who is this person that stole my heart?
Well, her name is Nina Wei, an Archeology undergraduate at PKU and a Social Anthropology postgraduate at LSE. During her spare time, she writes novels each themed with different neolithic cultures in China which she still is attempting to publish, cooks on the weekend after immitating inaccurate recipes off the TV, buys me cloths whenever her favorite brands go on special (Zara), Loves weird things (sculptures, paintings etc), enjoys her coffee and muffins in the mornings, tries very very hard to look young so that I won't run off with other women, worked green and good NGO's such as(National Geographic and Action Aid), followed by work at EU delegation and Burson Marsteller. Together we have a turtle, some snails, some fish, a cat and a hamster, (none of which I take care of once I'm in Australia, because I'm a bastard who lives in country with strict quarentine laws).

Shame I'll be leaving all this in a weeks time, with unknown certainty of when I'll next be seeing her...
With the economic crisis continually decreasing the frequency of exploitable opportunities dispite my cross cultural repositioning, the future seems somewhat uncertain. I'll continue to do my best with whatever comes my way, and hope for the best with everything out of my control.
